Basunti, Himachal Pradesh, India

October/November 2016

We have just started planning a retreat in Northern India at the end of October to early November 2016.   Basunti is about half way between Amritsa, home to the Golden Temple and the spiritual & cultural centre for the Sikh Religion and Dharamsala, the home of the Dalai Lama.  It overlooks a lake formed by a dam across the Beas River.  This is at the northern edge of the area where Yoga started in about 3,000 BC and also represents the eastern border of Alexander the Great's conquests in 326 BC - it has history :-).  The centre is set in beautiful tropical gardens at the heart of a wildlife reserve.  It has 10 twin or double rooms, no singles.  We will publish price and itinerary shortly.  In the meantime if you are interested email Heather.
