Create Space XVI Retreat -  Friday 15th to Monday 18th July 2016 Fully booked

Florence House

Southdown Road, Seaford, East Sussex, BN25 4JS

Create Space Retreats provide an opportunity and environment where you will be able to enhance your practice and deepen your knowledge. The leaders will introduce you to aspects of philosophy and practices that are often overlooked during general classes, and there will be the opportunity for you to have direct contact with the teachers and receive guidance for your personal practice.   The program will include 2 Yoga classes per day, early morning & evening meditation & satsang, Pilates, Tai Chi, guided walks and talks/workshops on Yoga philosophy, a sound bath with Genevra and Gabby  plus free time to appreciate the gardens and local area.

Seaford Head is a Local Nature Reserve within the Sussex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  It provides us with the opportunity to take some lovely walks with spectacular views along the Seven Sisters.

On the brow of Seaford Head sits Florence House set in 6 acres within an area of outstanding natural beauty on the edge of the South Downs National Park. It is rock solid in the sea air and surrounding wild landscape. In many ways its situation is a metaphor for its life’s purpose - a haven for the spirit however the wind blows. It’s a much loved venue for life enhancing workshops and retreats. In essence, it lovingly embraces divine inspiration, the sacredness and potential of each individual and the healing power of the landscape in which it sits.

One special feature of Florence House is the large Mongolian yurt nestled at the bottom of the wild garden.  It is well fitted out with cushions and a wood burning stove and so is ideal for evening meditation and gong baths.  It compliments the beautiful, traditional interior of the house itself.

The retreat will start on the Friday at 17.00 and finish on the Monday at 16:00.
