WGT Mindfulness Centre - Timetable

 Heather as Principal of the WGT Mindfulness Centre is bringing you a series of holistic classes, workshops and courses to compliment WGT's vision of practicing mindfulness and promoting ecology as a way of life to support an earth-friendly community.

Mindfulness has been shown to enable people to feel more relaxed, focus & work more efficiently, improve their concentration, confidence & self-control and generally aid both emotional and physical health.

We are now running regular classes at the WGT Mindfulness Centre:

There will be different styles of Yoga and other practices from inspirational teachers, including:  Mindful & Hatha Yoga, and Mindfulness Meditation.  Other classes will be added as the centre grows.

Pregnancy Relaxation with Michelle Turner-Wood

A weekly relaxation session for expectant women at any stage of pregnancy. It gives you an opportunity to take some time out of your busy week to enjoy being pregnant and connect with your baby. And it's a great way to meet other mums-to-be

This class allows you to be in the moment, understanding every nuance of sensation, letting go of judgement, not striving to get anywhere but just to BE.

Foundation Yoga with Mel Jensen

Hatha yoga class suitable for both newcomers to yoga and more experienced practitioners looking for a deeper understanding anatomy of postures.

Mindfulness Course with Tony Davis

The course will include theory and practice including exercises and discussions,  a written handout, CD of guided meditations and links to download other meditations.  Home practice will help to get sustained benefit.


Wear comfortable clothing in layers and bring a Yoga mat (if you have one, we have some at the centre) and cushion & light blanket for the relaxation.


The Teachers

Frankie Luo is the proprietor of the WGT Vegetarian restaurant chain in Shanghai and now Staines.  WGT food aims to help enrich the interconnection between the body, the mind and the spirit.

Heather George is the Principal of the WGT Mindfulness Centre. She is a Yoga Alliance registered Senior Yoga Teacher with diplomas in Hatha Yoga, Anatomy & Physiology, Yoga Therapy and Pre&Post Natal Yoga.

Tony Davis is an IT management consultant & mindfulness teacher with Diplomas in Advanced Meditation & delivering the 8 week mindfulness course. He has a strong interest is in the benefits of mindfulness in the workplace.

Jean-Claude Rawady’s yoga education includes 200 hr BSY Hatha Yoga, 300 hr intense Rasa Yoga, Gravatonic swing yoga & mindfulness meditation. He is honoured to guide fellow yogis on the same path

Mel Jensen has been practicing Yoga for 13 years & teaching for 3. She has a British Wheel of Yoga level 4 diploma, a Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology and studied in Thailand, India & Morocco.

Michelle Turner-Wood is a Hypno-birthing teacher qualified in the Katherine Graves method, which is accredited by The Royal College of Midwives.  She is passionate about supporting and empowering parents during the life changing event that is the birth of their child.

WGT in Staines-upon-Thames, is the first of the successful WGT vegetarian fusion restaurant group to be located outside of China. WGT cuisine believes in discovering natural original taste of food, no deep fry or artificial flavouring.
